I know some of you have had trouble uploading airchecks. There are a couple reasons why they won't work.

1 - Your file is too BIG. This is the #1 reason aircheck uploads fail. Your mp3 or wma file cannot be larger than 10,240 kb (10 mb) in size. The site won't accept them. The site will also not accept wav files or any other file other than mp3 or wma. If your aircheck is long, change the mp3 settings in your save to make the file mono, change the sample rate to 22,050 hz, change the bitrate to something a little smaller, or all of these. These are airchecks for critiquing and sharing ideas, they don't need to be crystal clear like you're applying for a job!

2 - You may be doing it wrong... I don't know how people are trying to upload their airchecks but this is how you do it. Click new thread in the aircheck forum. Then below the box where you type your message click browse on the file uploader. Select your file and click the open button in the file browser. Then type a message if you wish, and click submit. 

3 - If the directions in #2 don't work, it's probably your browser. If you unfortunate enough to still be using Internet Explorer 5.5 (or God forbid something even older) I cannot guarantee this site will work. You need to upgrade your browser to at least IE6, or better yet IE7 or Firefox.

INCLUDE YOUR NAME, CALL LETTERS, AND APPROXIMATE DATE IN THE FILENAME OF YOUR AIRCHECK! If you don't, I won't include you in the vault when I move airchecks out of the forum and into the vault. 

One other update I'd like to pass along, if you try to write a blog entry, you now have a full WYSIWYG editor in the blog at your disposal. I didn't realize it but you couldn't even put in a line break unless you know html coding.
